The Production Operative role…
Each day 1000’s of individual customer orders are produced, picked and packed ready for daily distribution. All from our dry and non-refrigerated factory site located in Cleckheaton. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our Operations team. Production Operatives play a key role in the day-to-day running of our production lines, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Duties and responsibilities of the role are:
- Ensure product quality is optimised through carrying out and documenting regular checks on paperwork and integrated IT systems.
- Maintains Food Safety and Hygiene Standards through adopting and using Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Passionate about the H&S of yourself and colleagues highlighting any concerns through raising Hazards & Near misses.
- Actively support line/product changeovers.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills within your team and other functions.
- Understand site KPI’s and own role in delivering them
- Once trained - Operate and maintain production line assets across site
What success looks like:
The team hit daily production targets whilst maintaining quality and ensuring all of this is done in a safe manner.

It'd be great if you have:
- Experience of working in FMCG environment
- Understanding of factory safety and hygiene procedures
- Understanding of continuous improvement work practices
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative
