The Senior Growth Lead role…

This is a senior, hands-on performance role for someone who knows how to balance creativity with numbers. You’ll be primarily responsible for leading our paid social efforts - setting short-term strategy looking at the next 6-9 months, managing daily performance, and constantly finding new ways to drive growth.

You’ll lead a small team of creative strategists and manage external creative agencies, ensuring everyone is aligned on performance goals and creative direction. This role suits someone who’s equally comfortable briefing creators as they are managing budgets, and who thrives on responsibility, results and is capable of course correcting if things do not go to plan.

Duties and responsibilities of the role are:

  • Own the paid social channels (primarily Meta) from day-to-day execution to short-term strategy and optimisation.
  • Lead and develop the internal creative strategy team, managing output, growth, and collaboration.
  • Oversee external creative agencies, ensuring alignment on goals, performance, and creative standards.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop partnerships and source performance-driven creative assets.
  • Expand our paid channel mix thoughtfully, testing and scaling new opportunities as they arise.
  • Managing budgets, ensuring efficient spend across channels.
  • Drive performance, continually analyse data, report on results, and find opportunities to improve both creative and channel performance.
  • Understand and forecast numbers, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting to the wider business.
  • Collaborate with the wider brand and marketing team to ensure all creative growth opportunities are maximised and the Pure brand is positively developed.
  • Work well with peers to maximise output and growth.

What we are looking for:

  • A creative mind with a performance focus. Someone who can connect storytelling and data to deliver results.
  • Strong analytical understanding - you know your way around the numbers and what drives them.
  • Experience managing people and agencies, ideally in a performance or growth context.
  • A growth mindset. Being curious, experimental, and hungry to keep improving.
  • In-house experience within a DTC or fast-moving consumer brand (desirable but not essential).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on output and impact over process.

About you…

  • Ahead of the pack: Great communicator, working with the entire growth team and getting involved in all aspects of growth to deliver excellent results.
  • Paws & People First: A team player, focused on growth of the business and understanding collective success results in career opportunities. Understands that dogs are at the heart of Pure and invested in improving the lives of as many of them as possible.
  • Best in Show: A good understanding of data and a keenness to get involved and drive results.
  • New tricks: Drives and supports innovation by sharing ideas, communicating effectively and displaying an openness to change, embracing new concepts and ideas.

At Pure Pet Food, our promises put Paws & People First. We’re committed to building a workplace where everyone feels valued, included, and able to thrive. By celebrating diversity, promoting equity, and embracing new ideas, we aim to be Best in Show for our people as well as their pets.
