My Maltese was becoming a fussy eater. The ad for Pure popped up on Instagram and I placed an order. I’m so glad I did, I had to contact them for further advice on how to move her over from her old diet to the new they gave me a prompt response and advice. Miss fussy is fussy no more. I have tried countless types of foods, raw, fresh home-cooked and others he would eat for a few weeks and then not eat it, I came across this, I was hesitant at first as it’s quite expensive but I bought a box and at first he wasn’t sure but 8 months on and he’s still eating it. He’s only tried the turkey and the chicken so far. It’s also great to hide his supplements in without him noticing, I am amazed at how long he has been on this as normally after a few weeks I am back on the hunt for a different food.

This food is the solution we were looking for. It is the comfortable midway between a dry and wet food. All the ease of a dry food, no smell or mess yet all the pleasure for the dog of a wet food. It is the only food that our small, fussy dog will eat. We were very worried about her weight before we tried pure and now she is a healthy size and loving life!

Our little Border cross terrier had episodes of upset tummy and sickness and not wanting to eat. We thought it might be an intolerance to grain after consulting with vet to make sure it was nothing really serious. Although, to us, this was serious enough! Anyway, decided to give Pure a try. Here are my dogs with my husband last weekend on a camping trip to Scotland. I feed my 4 dogs a raw natural food diet and as we have a motorhome which we use a lot to find extra good dog walks taking raw food for longer than a week isn't really viable I have been looking for a suitable alternative for ages whilst travelling and “Pure” fits the bill. It's also really convenient in that it weighs so little for the amount of food you get once rehydrated And of course the important thing is all my dogs love it including my fussy eater! My dogs can be fussy and often get bored of food. They have had Pure for 6 weeks now and are sitting waiting for it to cool every single mealtime. There is never any left and they both go to each other's bowls just to check if there has been any missed. It's brilliant, also both have slightly sensitive tummies but we have had no incidents since they have been on this food. Fantastic!

My dog loves it and after the first few days getting used to it, his digestion improved. He often has problems straining at stool due to anal gland problems but since starting this food he has not been affected. I can't praise the food enough as my dog is usually a fussy eater but not with Pure. The only negative thing is the price. It is expensive. Mine is an elderly boy and I feel he's worth it!

We have two Miniature Dachshunds. Our first, Daisy, was a very fussy eater and would often turn her nose up at food. I did a lot of research and discovered raw feeding, something I hadn't been aware of before. Also during my research, I discovered that the ingredients of pretty much all the major brands of dog food are just horrible, really, really horrible.

It's not the cheapest but if you subscribe, you get discounts and also they send me regular emails with 25% discount codes and other offers, which is great. I will never feed my girls the rubbish found in supermarkets, or the equally poor stuff that you see in vets claiming to be 'Science' based... it's just as poor but the vets get a big kickback for selling it.

Wow, I’m impressed. Just tried Mandy with Pure and she is a fussy eater. This is a dog who, since we adopted her, had refused to eat any type of dog food or even put her face in a dish! She waited impatiently for it to rehydrate then she just wolfed it down!

Faelan my husky/wolf dog cross has always been a fussy eater. But since I got him on to Pure feed he has been thriving. He loves pretty much every version that you sell so I switch around every month or so to give him a bit of variety :)

Old dog, new tricks!

Our 14.5-year-old dog loves Pure and is so much more lively and fit since eating it and giving up on kibble. Great concept, website, offers and selection. Next day delivery usually too. Really great all round and would thoroughly recommend them.

Both my cats are super picky eaters, they turn their nose up at all the food we have tried apart from Pure Pet Food. At the time I was having a look at food for my new puppy and noticed there was a new section for cats so thought I'd try it.

Our dog has always struggled to adjust to a new food, however when we couldn't get his normal food we thought we would give PURE a go and we haven't looked back. His only problem is waiting for the food to cool. He loves it.

I have an extremely fussy Shar Pei bitch with really bad skin allergies. She normally will not touch dog food and will leave it. She loves pure!! She licks the bowl clean every time and can't wait for her 'mash'. Her skin is also 1000x better than it was before she was eating pure !! Couldn't recommend highly enough!!

Our 11-year-old Miniature Schnauzer who was a rather fussy eater and use to graze through the day. She also had a number of teeth removed which was making it really hard for her to chew. I tried your food a few months ago and although my dog loved it I took her off it as it was more convenient for her to be on the same food as our new puppy. I put her on a natural dry and wet mix which is what she's always loved and she refused it, I tried her on raw and she refused it, I tried her on her safe food (the one she eats over anything every time) and she refused it!! I had an appointment at the vets as I thought there was something wrong, in the morning I found some of her last box of pure with a bit in, I mixed it up and it was gone in seconds, safe to say the vet appointment was cancelled and a new box of pure was ordered! Bella decided she was not going to eat anything else! She's had multiple compliments on her coat shine and she's jumping up my leg at dinner time again, thank you

My two very fussy Mini Schnauzers have been dining on Pure for a year now and would never go back to anything else. It is a big big hit. They can't wait to get stuck in which is a joy to see after years of bribery with extra meat tucked away in their old dried food!!

What excitement to see a treat to compliment your food. My two mini Schnauzers loved these but nothing lasts for long with two dogs!! Always worried about treats and fat content as both my dogs have sensitive stomachs...one ended up with pancreatitis after the tiniest treat from elsewhere. Thankfully we can trust Pure to come up with something we know we can trust!! Big thanks guys!!

Both are two Shih Tzu friends who go over to one another houses to play. When pure is prepped in the kitchen they have fights and wait the WHOLE 15 mins in the kitchen looking at the food and each other to who will get a bowl first. Gus enjoys his food but Arabella is a dog that doesn't even like herself so finding a dog food that gets her excited is brilliant. She's never sat for 15 mins in a kitchen, she would usually walk off and let Gus eat it. We LOVE Pure and it's also great that we are going on holiday to France this week and don't have to take a load of tins.. Just one nice box of Pure.

Anal gland problems

“This is my mean look, keep away from my Pure”. Trilby had an ongoing problem with impacted anal glands. Six months on and feeding Pure, she hasn't had a recurrence, and she's lost the extra weight she was carrying. Vet very impressed.

My gorgeous boy Oscar has various medical issues - colitis, chronic gastroenteritis, gut issues, and awful anal gland problems. It was an absolute nightmare finding a food that didn’t exacerbate his issues. Until we found Pure Pet Food. It is absolutely brilliant!!! Whilst he still has his issues, he is a thousand per cent better on this food. I would never ever change him from this brand - it has saved his life. Xxxxxxx

My dog Alfie was having terrible seasonal allergies and suffering with his anal glands. We were up & down to the vets every week he had daily antihistamines & 2 lots of antibiotics I Googled his symptoms & an advert for pure pet food came up so I read the reviews & decided to give it ago. Within a month Alfie's skin had calmed down & he hasn't had a trip to the vets for 2 months now. Pure is very easy to use & Alfie gobbles it up he is a very happy dog now thanks Pure Pet Food

Great customer service, always able to help and answer questions. I was unsure about switching to this food - my 1-year-old loves it! Bit too early to say if it helps with anal gland problems. Deliveries are next day and communication is really good.

Colitis

My dog has had a poorly tummy for a long time. Very messy poo’s. A fair amount spent at the vets to be told, ‘it just is”! A fellow dog owner suggested colitis. I looked up colitis in dogs, the photos were very familiar, then looked up ‘food for dogs with colitis. Pure Pet came up, I ordered the sample pack, and from the 1st dollop on the transition from her old complete food, the improvement could be seen the next day. Whether she has colitis or just a very sensitive tummy, over the 6 weeks she has been on Pure Pet, I have seen improvement in both Ginty and her poo’s. She is more lively, likes to play more and is generally more interested in life - brilliant.

Hello, huge thank you to your amazing dog food. Cookie my cavalier King Charles is a rescue dog tried lots of foods due to an unknown intolerance including a very expensive vet prescription. It and they didn't work they caused tear stains, colitis, weight loss, poor coat condition and excessive thirst. A very unhappy eight-month-old. Eventually stumbled across a popular raw frozen food that worked well. I was good but didn't fit into our family lifestyle ... Due to a going on holiday to Scotland we panicked that we would not be able to source the frozen raw and that we wouldn't be able to travel with the amount that we would need for the whole trip. I then stumbled across you guys. Yeahhhhhhh two-week transition and wow no tear stains, weight on, great coat, no colitis, no excessive drinking and urinating in the house. It's also easy to make, easy to source good value for money and we will happily travel to Scotland without dog food needing to be kept at a very low temp.

We ordered our first trial of Pure dog food as we had an extremely ill 13-year-old, Danny. He had been in intensive care with Anaemia and was bleeding internally. The vets couldn’t establish what was wrong with him despite several tests. Indeed, they sent us home with him for a few days to spoil him as they thought he would have to be put to sleep, you can imagine the heartbreak. I was trawling the internet in desperation and read on an American website (can’t remember which one) about colitis and links to manufactured dog food. They recommended trying your product if we were from GB. At first, both Danny and our other dog Jed were reluctant to eat Pure but gradually after experimenting with consistency they’re both now eating it. Danny is a miracle! He is now almost back to normal, from lying uninterested and lethargic to playing and eating and his bodily functions are working just fine.

I was sceptical about trying Pure at first. One of my dogs Danny a 13-year-old German Shepherd had been having ongoing tummy issues. I was home cooking for him so thought I'd try Pure as it contained similar ingredients. Well, I'm utterly amazed! Danny has had no issues at all and has put on a bit of weight (I'm feeding him the maximum as he'd lost a lot of weight). His colitis has ceased and he is full of bounce and energy. I have struggled with my little Sproodle Jess who suffers from Colitis and finding a suitable food has been near impossible and the Vets bills have been never-ending. Kizzy is an eight-year-old Border Terrier cross who has always been full of energy and clearly enjoys life, that is until around two years ago. Kizzy began to suffer bouts of diarrhoea and constipation with pain and vomiting. After going back and forth from the vet, multiple tests and a lot of money later, they found she was suffering from pancreatitis. However, they had no idea as to what was causing it.

March 2016 my vet referred us to a Specialist vet practice in Surrey, where my poor girl had ultrasounds, blood and neurological tests, anything to try and find an answer. I would pay anything to improve Kizzy's quality of life but this visit cost me £2000 and the tests didn't reveal anything we didn't already know.

Throughout the year Kizzy became more and more withdrawn, refusing to play or go out for walks. I could see she was depressed and I didn't know what to do. January 2017 Kizzy ruptured her Cruciate ligament in her right knee and I now needed to think about subjecting her to surgery even though she was unwell. We went ahead with the operation and she has healed well, but because of her pancreatitis, there were a lot of pain medications she couldn't be prescribed.

Thankfully her leg healed well and in that sense, she was back to normal, but not the way I know her. The following months until July 2017, Kizzy's condition only got worse, until she was bleeding heavily out of her backside both randomly and when she went to the bathroom. Again I was taking her to the vet several times a week with vomiting, bleeding, pain and discomfort not to mention the constant dehydration. She was eventually diagnosed with Colitis. It was found that pancreatitis had been reactive, the inflammation in her little tummy was disrupting everything.

Now we had a diagnosis we could treat it, she was prescribed daily steroids (something we tried to put off as long as possible) fibre pellets, and Zitac to try and reduce the vomiting. It was also recommended that I buy vet-approved prescription food for her. I was incredibly hopeful and went on with the best of intentions. However, Kizzy wasn't having any of it. She refused the grey coloured, bland smelling food and would go days without eating and despite all the medications, she was still passing blood and mucus, she was becoming thin and I truly worried about her quality of her life and future.

What I found incredibly hard was feeling as though I had to choose between feeding her a food that was essentially a poison to her little body or letting her starve, it was breaking my heart.

Then on one of my regular visits to my local Pets at Home store, I unloaded all my concerns onto a member of staff who was trained in pet nutrition. She recommended Pure pet food, something I had never heard of before.

I bought a large box as I had this feeling that it would be a success, I was excited to see if Kizzy approved. And she did, Kizzy took to the food immediately and has never failed to leave an empty bowl. The food looks and smells appetising and she seems to like the warm temperature especially now it's getting colder.

It sounds like a fantasy rather than fact but Kizzy is now totally medication-free, she no longer passes blood and is regular in her bathroom habits. I haven't seen her out of pain this long since her symptoms began and she has all her energy back. Pure has also helped Kizzy to maintain a healthy weight, which is fantastic for the metal plates in her leg.

The sparkle is back in her eye and she is enjoying life, which gives me nothing but pleasure.

I can't thank you enough for developing pure, it has changed both mine and Kizzy's life beyond measure. (and saving my bank balance too)

My French bulldog Pierre is 3 years old. We have had Pierre from a puppy and he has always had an issue with bringing up his food after eating it. Even when he wasn't running around. We tried everything.....changing food, making sure he only ate in the evening. Nothing worked. He had an operation and that didn't even work.

Harvey is about to start on his third bag. He absolutely loves it and it has made an enormous difference to his health since we switched him onto Pure Pet Food, because he was allergic to so many things, both food-related and other. Before he was constantly scratching and very prone to minor tummy upsets and flatulence, which we used to put down to the fact that, as a Labrador, he eats anything and everything, the smellier the better. However, now he is on Pure his tummy seems able to cope with his 'snacks'. He no longer scratches all the time and he is such a happy, healthy dog. The team at Pure are great. When I emailed a question to them it was answered very promptly and helpfully. I love their humorous approach! All 3 of my dogs were raw fed, up until coming out of a 9 day stay in kennels..all 3 had varying degrees of Gastroenteritis, my 3-year-old cocker was the worst effected...they all refused their raw meals and I tried most things, to no avail! My cocker started losing weight (which he can afford to) and I happened upon Pure...I got my trial packet yesterday...gave them each their tea....they wolfed it down!..the relief was unmeasurable!...they still get raw meaty bones on top, but thanks to Pure foods my dogs are happy, and HEALTHY once more!!... CoCo’s breeders raised her on a raw diet and I didn’t want to continue it, she too loves the Pure food and is coming on leaps and bounds.

Pancreatitis

Honestly, the best dog food I have ever bought! I have a 3-year-old French Bulldog who has struggled with skin allergies, pancreatitis and diarrhoea for the last year. I've tried almost every 'sensitive/hypoallergenic etc' food for her and nothing has cleared it up, until now! She's been on Pure Pet Food for about 3 weeks but I can honestly see a huge improvement with her skin and tummy and she seems so much happier! She can't get enough of it either! Thank you so much!

Excellent food, my westie ben suffers from pancreatitis & skin issues, if only I had known about this food a long time ago it might of saved me hundreds of pounds.

Decided to change our dog onto PURE after a really bad case of pancreatitis (almost losing her). Vet suggested low fat food that didnt have the nasty bits in so I did quite a lot of research before deciding on this food. Did a VERY slow change over so it didnt upset her sensitive tummy and I have to say I'm really impressed with it. No upset tummies since changing and she absolutely LOVES it. Also very quick to make and no horrible "dog food" smell. They are so helpful if you need help with anything and very quick to respond. May be a bit more pricey than normal dog food but in my opinion, totally worth it as you actually know what your dog is eating. Thanks so much Pure Pet Food 😁

Good phone customer service, informative on the advice I needed. Really easy online ordering and speedy delivery. One is a standard schnauzer and the other is a miniature schnauzer, both have delicate stomachs and the miniature suffers with pancreatitis. So far so good after three weeks, they also both love the taste.

Thanks to Pure Sooty's urine ph is now spot on according to the vet, he's been on prescription food for 5 years and it was supposed to prevent bladder stones but he had another spiky one removed last year. Since then we've been trying to get it right, and a change of prescription food set off his pancreatitis. No such problems with Pure and he loves it so much that he licks the bowl for at least 10 minutes after he's eaten. I've increased the amount by half a cup because he was losing weight, might have to go up another half cup. He needs to drink more, so will add more water. Thanks, Pure!

Oral health

I bought the trial pack for my old girl after weeks of her not wanting to eat anything including her favourite chicken, veg and gravy. She'll be 16 in a couple of weeks and I was worrying she was at the end of her life and my vet was agreeing too, but now after just a few days, she's like a different dog, bouncing around again with her toys and younger furry sister. It's incredible the difference it's made for her. She has always been one for gravy and soupy wet dinners so I make it with extra water for her. I think for my old girl this has literally been a lifesaver.

Yesterday it was Brogans 16th birthday

She had a vet check today for her arthritis and the main reason she had stopped eating, her sore gums. Due to her age, her ageing heart meant an anaesthetic is out of the question so a dental is off the cards so it has been a very worrying time.

I started feeding her Pure as a very watery soup 2 weeks ago and as she wasn't eating it was a hard transfer from her old food and she absolutely loved it. The 10-minute wait for her by the moaning and huffing she makes must feel like hours lol but then there's a clean dish in minutes and she had no problems tummy wise by the changeover. I noticed a difference within days to her gums and the vet confirmed today that her gums are almost back to normal.

The massive plus for me, as well as her health, of course, is that her previously stinky breath has gone so kisses and cuddles are also back on the menu which makes us both very happy.

I'm am so glad I found Pure and thank you for the amazing difference it's made to her health and happiness.

We got Oscar as a pup and although well-loved he just wasn't doing as well as his littermates. He was underweight, super sniffly, tired quickly and had barely any teeth not to mention the toilet troubles! After a lot of research, I came across Pure and can honestly say that between the quality of the food, the results and the helpful guidance it's the best thing I've ever bought! Oscar is now at his proper weight, sniffles are gone and is overall a much happier healthy pup. He now has bags of energy and spends his time enjoying the outside and being mischievous.

I can't recommend your food highly enough. Buddy is a Welsh Springer Spaniel, who was beginning to gain weight. Using tinned food and biscuits, it was almost impossible to make adjustments to his food intake. His poo wasn't nice and his breath not great. I'd been looking for an alternative way of feeding him for some time and got a voucher from Pets At Home to try your food. We started on a 2 kg bag of Pure and haven't looked back. When Bud knows his dinnertime is coming up he follows me round the house nagging me to get it ready and the ten minutes he has to wait are agonizing for him! He sits looking at the kitchen top licking his chops in anticipation. His poo is much nicer to dispose of and the real bonus is that he doesn't have the really bad breath and his teeth are much cleaner. My friend has two Welshies (one of them is Buddy's sister) and I gave her some to try and now she is converted too. I'm gradually passing the word around in South Wales for you.

PURE have been fabulous from the outset. They have a great website explaining about the food. Their ordering system is easy. I haven't needed to contact them about anything, except to say thank you for the fabulous service. I was not expecting a reply, but they replied with a lovely friendly and professional response.

Our mini schnauzer loves the food, she has had chicken and duck. She prefers lots of extra water with her mix...about three times as much, our pup has never been an avid drinker, so this extra water makes me feel that she is better hydrated. Her coat seems shinier and her breath is definitely sweet smelling again. Now for the TMI...her poop has really improved and I thought it was good before PURE!

Their packaging is a high quality, distinctive and personalised delight, with occasional treats and toys. It is tracked too, so no guessing when it will arrive. Our dog has a sensitive stomach and her transition onto PURE was seamless. I also find the fact that it is dehydrated makes storage much simpler AND on day trips or short breaks, there are no open trays of food that need refrigeration or defrosting etc.

Additionally, I like the fact that I add warm water so all her food is warm now not straight from the fridge and cold on her sensitive tummy...Clean simple and pure...just add water. Absolutely no complaints. I definitely recommend this food :D

Sensitive skin

I just wanted to say thank you for producing such a great product! I have two flat-coated retriever and they love your food. One has a sensitive skin, the other a sensitive stomach. I found your food after watching the film pet Fooled and searched for a dehydrated dog food. I am surprised that not more people in the UK know about Pure.

I am especially happy that you do not throw half a spice rack into your food, there are many good dog foods with a high protein content on the shelves but they are full of various herbs (which also the dog may or may not like nor need) and that is a catastrophe for the owner of an allergy-prone dog. So I am very happy that you kept it simple and Pure and only have as little ingredients as necessary. Also, my sensitive stomach dog gets diarrhoea from any new food, but not from your food and I did not even introduce it slowly as I should have (I know).

Jackson is 19 weeks old. He's always had smelly wind, runny poos and itchy skin. We were about to test him for all-sorts which would have involved me chasing after him with a poop tube to collect samples. My dog, Punch is almost 18 years old and was suffering from skin allergies, her eyesight was fading and her hearing wasn’t what it used to be. I was getting very concerned about her health and well-being and having recently done a nutritional therapy course (for humans), it dawned on me that the same principles would apply to dogs. My rescue Shar Pei was losing his fur, being sick and just suffering. Shar Peis are prone to skin and ear infections and we have had Buddy at the vets over 8 times in 6 months with his ears and fur loss. Buddy was a rescue pup and I think his previous owner realised that he was going to cost a fortune with his issues.

Our vets have told us that he is also going to cost us a fortune because of his breed. They have said that he needs to be on steroids for life. Reading all the forums online we have realised that Shar Peis struggle with allergic reactions to many things and that is what attracted us to your food, simple quality ingredients with no added chemicals. He was losing huge patches of fur and was completely bald under his arms, neck and chest. I have a 2 yr old Tibetan Terrier who has had an unexplained ”itch“ since being a puppy. I have spent hundreds of euro on blood tests, skin biopsies and different food products. I searched for grain-free foods and found Pure. Rory has only been on Pure for 3 weeks and his itch has almost gone. He no longer chews his coat or licks his feet. So glad I found this food via a review on a blog. My dachshund ted has been suffering from skin problems for a while. He had two lots of antibiotics from the vets which wasn't helping so I decided to try some tweaks to his diet. Well, he loves this food like nothing I've ever seen, my other dog even goes over and licks the empty bowl so it must be good. Ted now has a glossy coat and his skin problems are getting better.

We have suffered along with our Frankie boy (Cavalier King Charles) for 18 months now, racking up the vet bills & countless variations of food. He started with biting his feet & then over a few months period started a full-on body scratch attack, drawing blood if left unattended, which was very distressing for him & us.

I thought I would write to let you know how much my little Bichonpoo loves Pure so much. Not only has it helped Bronte's little hotspots which the breed is prone to but the biggest difference I have noticed is that she no longer gets the ugly red tear stains in her eyes and around her mouth which were really bad. I have a 5-year-old Doberman who became extremely sensitive to and reactive to grass seed and almost anything else it seemed. Although she was treated by the vets the scratching was persistent. Since switching to the Pure there is an evident improvement in her coat, skin and scratching behaviour. I believe that it is not natural for dogs to eat the grains that are present in other dog food. This is a fabulous range and I recommend it even if your dog has no sensitivity issues.

I have a fussy cat with a very bad skin condition, as in, he pulls his fur out for no reason in big chunks. The only thing that seemed to help after various food eliminations was steroids. My little old man is a rescue and is thirteen years old and I couldn’t keep him on them for long as they could damage his kidneys. Then I discovered Pure! I thought I have tried everything else, might as well try this. The results were amazing! Within a week, my fusspot had scoffed Pure every time it was put in front of him and his skin is so very much better, in fact almost cleared up. Thank you Pure.

After watching Dragons Den my husband & I were really impressed so I first got the sample packs to see if Ringo, our Rhodesian Ridgeback, liked the food. He absolutely loved it and he now goes to the toilet much easier than when he was on the BARF diet, he was often constipated. He is a really clean dog but his constant licking was driving us mad and I realised that this too has stopped since he's been fed Pure food, so I'm sure his skin was also irritated. So improvement all round, and when I give him his evening feed I make up the next day’s food ready and keep in the fridge as he cannot wait the 10/15 minutes it takes to hydrate!

We have two Wire Fox Terriers, one of which suffers from skin problems (itchy and prone to infections). When the skin problems start, medication including antihistamines and antibiotics, just manage to keep the condition under control but it has always reappeared - this is not acceptable as a long term solution. We have been feeding Pure (to both dogs) for just a few months. Whilst we are still using the antihistamine there has been no outbreak of skin problems. In addition, the coats of both dogs are in the best condition that they have ever been. We plan to start withdrawing the antihistamine in the next few weeks and feel confident that the change in diet has solved the problem.

Simply perfect, my little Frenchie has no more problems of dermatitis or allergies since she switched to Pure. Her digestion and poop are also perfect!

I wasn't sure about changing my dog's food but he has very dry skin and although he is 9 he just seemed to have no energy anymore. So glad I did as within a week his coat was shinier and so soft and he's got his bounce back!

He absolutely loves the food, he's so excited to get fed now and although it seemed quite a bit more expensive than his previous kibble it isn't actually when you work it out by daily price. This is Aldo our 10-month-old French Bulldog. I have recently started feeding Pure to my Frenchie who has food allergies. I mix it with his home-cooked diet. It is a great way to ensure that he is getting all of the nutrients that he needs. He absolutely loves it! It is early days but his itching from his allergies seem to be improving. I have been recommending to other Frenchie owners as I frequently get asked what I feed him on as his coat is so shiny.

Pure has been fantastic for my rescue Staffie Dolly. She arrived with allergies and anxiety. We changed her food over to Pure and have been able to stop the numerous medications that she was on. She has been with us for two years and we were really at a loss to know how to help her - the Vet had even suggested having her put to sleep. When we got him a year ago, he weighed 15kg and had a strip of awful fur down his back, which we were told could’ve been due to either parasites or plain old neglect... unfortunately, he had been with an old farmer who suffered with dementia but the people who took over the farm didn’t do much to help him apart from to take him to a rescue kennels... and it wasn’t sure whether his coat would get any better, thankfully it has and it’s lovely and silky to the touch. Just need to sort the itching out, but we’re wondering if it’s just habit with him...?

We're all very happy with Pure Pet Food at my house! Previously I was using high-quality kibble, but am pleased to have made the leap to dehydrated food. I have a 5-month-old lab who recently got and thankfully recovered from parvo. I'd bought Pure Pet Food online the day before she was diagnosed with parvo and had to stay at the vet's. Two days later, with doggy still at the clinic, the boxes of Pure I'd bought were delivered (I'm in Spain and very impressed with the speed of the delivery). I didn't know whether I should use Pure or not when she got home so I kept her on the vets recommended diet of royal canine gastroenteritis food. But I could see she was doing really well and was trying to eat everything so I started introducing Pure. I was very reassured by the fact that Pure have an online chat which means I could ask questions whenever I wanted to. The first two days I fed one meal Pure and two meals kibble. But within three days she only wanted Pure. We've just finished our first box of Chicken Delicious and her stools are perfect. Her coat is glowing and she's put on all the weight she had lost and I've never seen her so excited for her food. I've just ordered 4 more boxes. It's really easy to prepare and even my very sceptic boyfriend is totally convinced. Highly recommended.

This is Dottie, she is 6 years old and weighs less than 2 lbs, and has Ataxia for 4 years, she suffered with terrible IBS symptoms, and then somebody recommended I try Pure. Well, she is a new dog and doesn't look like skin and bone anymore and no symptoms of IBS.

Our dog's name is Freya, an ex-racing greyhound whose first four years of life were spent on a track. She is now retired.

I have an 18-month-old Cavalier King Charles who has serious food/eating issues. He has a very sensitive digestive system and although the problem that caused him to pass frank blood whilst opening his bowels was resolved a few months ago, his fear of eating still remained. I have to sit on the floor, hand-feeding him with organic chicken and steak. I don't like giving him grain, so supplemented his diet with sweet potato and root vegetables.

I went to see Chris at Pets at Home in Bracknell today, he's advised me before and he's very, very knowledgeable. We discussed my dog's needs and Chris recommended your product. I was a little cynical, I've tried so many products, but brought it home.

Hi, you recently sent my puppy max his first bag of food.

Max was quite literally on death's door, he was diagnosed with parvovirus and worms, in 5 days he dropped so much weight is skin and bone.

He spent 3 days in a veterinary hospital and every day since at the vets.

He was prescribed royal canine and a few other foods but he refused to eat them all because the parvovirus had shed all of his stomach lining.

He was losing his strength and his legs were starting to shake and he is skin and bone.

From the second he smelled your food he slowly ate a full bowl.

For me it's a miracle, we honestly thought he was going to die.

His second meal he seemed to have more strength and tonight I mixed in some kibble to add some calories and he ate like he did before he got sick.

His legs have stopped shaking, he's drinking again and it hasn't upset his stomach one but.

Sensitive stomach

So far so good. Have two very different dogs, both rescue but one was an emaciated setter with a very sensitive stomach. They both love it. Just ordered my 2nd batch. No sensitive stomach issues which is one of the reasons for my trial order. This food has a pleasant aroma too.

Pure has really helped Lola our Frenchie who has a sensitive stomach. It's cleared up her diarrhoea within a few days of starting to swap over to it. Very happy with it so far.

My dog (a Siberian husky) has a sensitive stomach and also struggles sometimes to swallow her food. Pure Pet Food is ideal for her as it's soft enough for her to swallow and tasty for her. I previously had her on tails.com but I have found she eats her new food without any problems. Definitely will be keeping Willow on Pure Pet Food.

Big thank you to Pure Pet Food! Our girl Magic started getting a really sensitive tummy and was being sick a lot on her old food and no one, not even the vet could figure out why! She is a fussy girl too so it is hard to find things to eat that she really likes. We have now switched her to Pure and she loves it! Bailey, 3 and Tyson, 6 have been on Pure for over a year now. Bailey was introduced to raw food from an early age but the cost and storage of the products was expensive and then we discovered Pure! Tyson survived parvo as a pup and has a very sensitive stomach (or maybe he is just fussy) but he wouldn't go near raw food and had lived off costly big brands with all those nasty extras. We successfully introduced him to Pure, a typical Labrador his bowl is licked clean every night, not once, but twice with Pure food for good measure. Helped settle my Border Collie 'Ziggy' sensitive tummy down after months of trying other dog food products, that just did not seem to work. Nice range of healthy treats. My adopted shorkie came to us with diarrhoea and hated the Wainwrights kibble we were told to feed her. I thought I might try this food for Woody, he has just turned 15 and has started to have a sensitive tummy. Absolutely over the moon with Pure Pet Food! We have a 1 year old frenchie who had a very sensitive tummy from the moment we brought him home and tried so many dog foods and supplements before discovering this brand. He devours it every meal time and we've never looked back. From only the 3rd meal his poos were solid which they never were before meaning we could take him out for walks properly as until then, attempting to pick up runny ones was just a big no! A few months back Ozzie was suffering badly with his stomach, a trip to the vets saw him on antibiotics and still, he was no better. We decided to change his diet and tried various different dog/biscuit combos with no success. Until by accident I came across an advert for Pure pet food and thought “why not give it a try?”

Kidney disease

I was worried about my dog's kidneys as he was consuming a lot of water. Since I changed his food to Pure chicken and Pure beef, both for kidney care, his drinking is back to his usual amount, which is very pleasing.
I also like the fact that it is very easy to speak with a member of the company who are all very friendly, professional and helpful.
Feels a bit like family

I had to find new pet food for my senior dog who requires a product suitable for early stage kidney disease. I transitioned to Pure Renal and experienced no problems and my dog is very enthusiastic at meal times. Online communication with Pure is straightforward. The food is more expensive than previous product but appears to be good quality.

Arthritis

We have an 8 year old lab called Hank who has always had issues with his skin. He's been on hypoallergenic food since being a pup and had countless vet treatments from the vet for his skin. Over the last few years he's been having regular cytopoint injections to block the itching which has worked well (monthly over the warmer months, every 2 months over winter). However, he recently started showing early signs of arthritis in his back legs. I was looking into joint supplements and natural diets as a starting point, rather than relying on meds so early. We also split his walks into little and often. We started him on Pure Pet food and it's been a game changer! He hasn't shown any signs of discomfort in his legs, even after gradually increasing his walks again. And his skin and coat are looking amazing! He hasn't had an injection since August!! It's more than I'd like to spend on dog food, but it's worth every penny to see my boy looking so healthy and happy!

I started using Pure pet food after my 9 year old sproodle Lola had to have surgery to remove bladder stones in November and my vet suggested I try her on a prescription diet to prevent them returning. Pure pet food was perfect as I could also add her other ailments , such as allergies and arthritis to her diet plan as well as her urinary issues. The food was delivered promptly, which in itself is brilliant as I no longer run out of food as her next batch is delivered as I need it. Lola loves her new food, licks her bowl clean every time. Since using Pure, I’ve noticed her eyes seem brighter, her nose wet, her fur seems softer and she hasn’t had any issues with her anal glands or ears either, when previously on her old food, I was having to make a visit to the vets for either her glands emptying or a prescription for ear drops approx every 6-8weeks. I’m hoping after continuing use of the Pure food she will also eventually stop chewing her paws. I’m liking this food so much I’m also considering changing our 8 month old cockapoo over to Pure in future as she seems more interested in Lola’s food than her own!

Love everything about this company. Decided to give their food a try for my border collie who is fourteen and a half years old. She has had stomach problems from a puppy. She immediately took to Pure Pet Food and there was no problem in the changeover from her old food. She licks the bowl clean. I have also tried the treats and the joint supplement. Treats don't upset her and it's a little too early to say regarding the joint supplement, as she does have arthritis, but I feel very positive in view of her reaction to everything else. I had to call Pure Pet Food with a query I had and spoke to a lovely young lady who was so helpful. It has just been a pleasure dealing with them and I genuinely felt they cared about getting my collie the right food she required. Her coat is lovely and she is maintaining her weight which is important with her arthritis not to put any on. Even my vet commented that she did not look her age and that her weight was ideal. I do not often write reviews but felt this company really deserved it. Would highly recommend to anyone to give them a try.

Tear stains

Charlie has been on Pure for about 4 weeks and his [tear stains](https://www.purepetfood.com/help/tear-stains-in-dogs "Tear stains in dogs") and mouth stains have almost gone! He was on raw food before but this food has helped and he loves it one photo is before and one now.

I thought I would send you some pictures of my wee Pepe, he's a 6-year-old rescue Chihuahua, who unfortunately takes seizures and has very few teeth, he also had very bad tear stains, after reading your reviews, I thought I would give pure a go. I can see a huge improvement in him already, not only does he look better but he has loads more energy and doesn't sleep all the time now, so thank you Pure for making me and my little boy happy

My Bichon Frise loves Pure food and always cleans her bowl. The problem of staining under her eyes is greatly improved, there's a big difference. very pleased

Weight management

Bruno loves his new diet, his favourite is duck. He may look depressed but it’s only because I won’t let him eat the boxes! Before Pure Pet Food Bruno's coat had lost its shine and he was overweight. We cut down his food and walked him daily but nothing worked. He has been on Pure Pet Food for 4 weeks and has lost 2kg his coat is super shiny.

We just wanted to say how delighted we are with the food, we’ve been on it for 3 weeks now & we scoff every single meal, Oscar struggles to put weight on & being a working dog it’s important he stays in good shape, he’s gained 0.5 of a kilo since being on the food which is amazing!! Our only moan is the 10 minutes we have to wait for it to be ready! Thank you!

What an excellent dog food. Made from quality ingredients. I was a bit sceptical at first and thought it was expensive but the boxes actually last a very long time. My dog loves this food and has actually slimmed a little because his food isn't packed with 'fillers'. Would recommend anyone to give this food a try. So pleased I did.

My fussy and often sensitive Bengal Alfie loves both varieties. He attempts to open the cupboard whilst the food quickly rehydrates and generally goes mad until he is fed. Looks great on it and is maintaining a healthy weight with a glossy coat.

My Billy loves his Pure dog food, he has never been that enthusiastic for food but he loves Pure and makes sure there isn't a scrap left in the bowl! He has gained muscle and his fur grows very quick on it.

I have two dogs - both male Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, but with very different attitudes towards food. Tommy is the greedy one who would happily eat sawdust (please note I haven't offered it though...) :) Bosse is the gourmet dog, who is incredibly picky - worrying about his health and weight I've fed him from the palm of my hand! That is until we discovered Pure Pet Food. I couldn't believe seeing my gourmet dog, then 9 years old, jumping up and down and barking to get his portion! We tried going back to other types of food, but Bosse had no interest in them and since he's also quite old now and has heart problems, I decided to order Pure Pet Food from your online store. And the old and frail one is again jumping up and down and not shutting up until he's happily munching on his Pure! So thank you! :)

I can't believe the difference in Coupers coat in such a short time. When Couper first arrived with us from Romania he could hardly stand he was so thin. He loves Pure Food and will sit by his bowl waiting for meal time, he is certainly filling out now and is full of mischief.

Would highly recommend this food, it has transformed my Cavachon's life literally. I had actually ran out of grain-free high-quality kibble to feed her as she had tried them all and refused to eat them. I saw this and tried the starter pack and needless to say I have never looked back. She is healthy, full of energy and is filling out nicely now, she was very skinny as she wasn't eating properly. My only issue with this food is I have to control her continuous squealing while she is waiting for it to rehydrate. I feed the chicken and duck and would advise this as it has the biggest saving and, to be honest works out quite reasonable to feed if you average this on a weekly basis.

I had a 5 month pup, not a fussy eater but was purely on kibble. We used to add extra protein like chicken and fish to give him all he needed BUT, it was costing a fortune and we were always unsure if we were over feeding or under feeding. Plus he drank huge amounts of water and poop - well could be a bit messy. Roll forward one month with pure and, food goes down and gone in less than 10 minutes, licks the bowl clean! We are confident he’s getting all the nutrients he needs. He looks fantastic, his behaviour has improved, his poop is consistent and easy to pick up and finally his water intake seems normal. Even better it’s easy to store and mix up. Can never see us changing. So happy.
